RWG, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2022, is the longest established writers’ group in the city. We are a friendly group of published and yet to be published individuals who meet once a fortnight.
We are always happy to welcome potential new members and to co-operate with other writers’ groups over speakers, adjudications and social events.
Where We Meet
Our current venue is an upstairs room in the So! Bar (formerly the Black Bull), situated at 6, Old Market Place, Ripon HG4 1EQ. We meet on alternate Wednesday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m., the first meeting of 2024 being on Wednesday, 10th January.
